The two figures embrace within a field of deep violet, surrounded by layers of texture and light. Everything around them feels restless and alive, while the embrace itself remains grounded and still, creating a sense of quiet within the movement.
At its core, the painting is about a love that goes beyond possession or romance. It is the feeling of finding tenderness, safety, and connection with another person, of being able to fully surrender into their presence. I chose violet for its depth and mystery, evoking the endlessness of a night sky or the depths of the ocean. There is something infinite about it that felt right for a painting about a love that cannot be measured. It simply continues.
